Appointment PoliciesOnce an appointment is made the time is reserved specifically for you. To avoid a broken appointment penalty, we ask that you call Donison Dental at least one full day in advance of any cancellation, so that another patient can be seen during that time block. best payday loans
Will I be charged for missed or cancelled appointments? Our office policy is to call two weeks before a scheduled cleaning appointment for appointments that have been booked months in advance. We also make a second courtesy call to confirm all dental appointments at least two days prior to the scheduled appointment. This allows time for the patient to plan for the visit, or to let us know that the time doesn’t work. If it doesn’t work, a simple call at least one day in advance to let us know allows us to move/cancel the appointment and offer it to someone else. When we must leave a voicemail, we really appreciate a call back just to let us know that your appointment is, in fact, confirmed. Our office policy requires that if there is a history of 3 missed (or short-notice cancelled) appointments, a charge of $100 may be required to book an appointment. That ‘deposit’ will be held on file and either put toward the cost of treatment at the subsequent appointment, or forfeited if the patient doesn’t show for the appointment, or cancels without a full day’s notice. |
